1.       Attention all students:  Hello everyone…a great big thank you to everyone that has already sold orders for our fundraiser, but we still need more people to help so "gear up" and share the booklet with your Parents, Grandparents, other relatives and friends in your neighborhood.  Have Mom or Dad take a catalog to work and have their friends buy or renew a magazine.  If you need additional order forms or catalogs, envelopes or any other supplies pick them up in the office.  Our next Turn-in is:  Wednesday, September 8^th.

2.       Attention:  Students are not to remove equipment from the bag until directed by the LEAP supervisor.  If you are observed taking equipment or the empty bag without permission you will lose LEAP privileges for the entire year.  If you are caught placing equipment in the garbage can you will be referred to Mr. Sailsbery or Mr. Bazan.

3.       Eighth grade students:  WIS is starting a chapter of the California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF).  There will be an informational meeting Monday, September 13^th in room 408 after school at 2:45.  Applicants must have a higher grade point average with no D's or F's.  For more information see Mr. Huntley.

4.       Students - please show up to lunch with your lunch cards or have a signed note from your teacher!  Students with unsigned lunch notes will have to go to the end of the line.  Thank you.

5.       The WIS Campus Beautification Team has been hard at work beautifying the campus!  If you'd like to get involved, the next work days are Saturday, September 11^th and Saturday, September 18^th.  Donations are still gladly accepted!  See Mrs. Albert with questions.

HEALTH TIPS FOR KIDS -  Remember to floss!  It helps keep the spaces between your teeth clean.

TO HELP PREVENT ILLNESS:  WASH YOUR HANDS, COVER YOUR COUGHS AND SNEEZES, AND STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL.
