EARLY LUNCH -  5th & 6th      

 

  1. 8th graders:  Anyone who still has See's Candy Bars, please finish selling them and turn in the money on Tuesday, February 9th, after school in the library.

           

  1. There will be a Student Council Meeting for Representatives on Thursday, February 11th during 5th period.  Please check in with your 5th period teacher and then go to Mrs. Abold's room (302).

 

  1. WILLOWS LITTLE LEAGUE is still accepting sign ups for ages 5-18 year olds.  For sign-up & try-out dates, see the posting on the windows by the front & back doors.

 

  1. 8th Graders:  If anyone is interested in helping out at the Carnitas Drive thru on Wednesday, February 10th, there is a sign-up sheet in the office.  This is a fundraiser to help raise money for the 8th grade graduation dance and trip.  We need your help!

 

  1. BOX TOPS collection days are back!  5th, 6th & 7th graders:  Turn in your clipped Box Tops to the box in the library.  Be sure to write your name and grade level on the back of the Box Tops.  8th graders:  Turn in your Box Tops to Mrs. Albert.

 

  1. The Nutrition Club will be meeting after school on Wednesday in Room 409.  All interested students are welcome.

 

  1. The Nutrition Club is having another "hands-on" cooking class this Thursday, Feb. 11th, after school in room 409.  We are making Veggie Roll-ups.  If you participate, you will create and eat a nutritious and delicious treat as the nutritionist demonstrates the step-by-step process.  Interested students are encouraged to sign-up with Mr. Buckley in room 409.

 

  1. 8th graders:  The 2nd semester discipline policy is now in effect:

                                 2 referrals = No Trip

                                 3 referrals = No Graduation Dance

                                 4 referrals = No Graduation Ceremony

      Make the right choices now, so that you may participate in the fun end of year activities. 

     

      NOW AFFECTS LATER!

 

  1. 8th Grade Class Pictures are now on sale.  You may pick up an order form in the office.  They are $5 each.

 

  1. Yearbooks are now on sale!  Reserve your copy now!  They are $30 with student body card and $35 without.  They may be purchased before school, at lunch, or after school.  Get yours early and avoid the rush in the Spring and have it for the yearbook signing party - Don't wait until they are sold out. 

 

  1. Student body cards are now on sale!!!  You may purchase them before school, at lunch or after school.  They are $5.00.

 

HEALTH TIPS FOR KIDS -  Be in control and make smart choices.

 

TO HELP PREVENT ILLNESS:  WASH YOUR HANDS, COVER YOUR COUGHS AND SNEEZES, AND STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL.
