The Willows Intermediate Community Day School program:
- serves high-risk youths, including those referred by expulsion,
probation, or a School Attendance Review Board
- provides a challenging
academic curriculum, with individual attention to student learning modalities and abilities
- focuses on the
development of pro-social skills and student self-esteem and resiliency
- develops pro-social skills and resiliency

The WIS Opportunity Education Program serves students who are:
- habitually truant
- irregular in attendance
- insubordinate
- disorderly, or
- failing academically.
Opportunity Education provides a supportive environment with
specialized curriculum, instruction, guidance and counseling,
psychological services, and tutorial assistance to help students
overcome barriers to learning. It is a short-term intervention to
ensure that students will succeed when they return to their regular
classrooms.
