Counselors monitor the progress of each student on a regular basis to meet student needs in three major areas: academic development, career development and personal/social development. Counselors assist students in meeting graduation requirements and being prepared for post-graduation training, vocation and education options.
Counselors works with teachers and administration, as well as parents and many outside agencies.
Willows High School has one full-time counselor for sophomores through seniors and one part-time counselor for freshmen. Students and parents are invited to contact their counselors at any time and to set up an appointment when needed.
