Dr. Olmos has been Superintendent of the Willows Unified School District since 2006. He worked in Southern California as a teacher in the Hueneme School District, and was an administrator with the Torrance Unified School District as well as the Downey Unified School District before returning back to the North State.
A graduate of Orland High School and CSU, Chico, Dr. Olmos has advanced through multiple levels of the education system, as a student, teacher, vice principal, principal and superintendent of schools. While teaching in Southern California, he gained his Master's degree from Pepperdine University and his doctorate from the University of Southern California.
In 2007, Dr. Olmos was named an Outstanding Alumnus by the Butte College Foundation. He also serves on the Butte College Foundation Board of Directors.

| On March 12, 2009, Dr. Olmos was named, "Administrator of the Year" by the Glenn County chapter of ACSA. Dr. Olmos is surrounded by family, friends, and members of the Willows Unified District Trustees, Management team and office staff. |
